Hi, my name is Mathew Tamin, and I'd like to share a small part of my story with you.

As a young man, my father took the biggest risk of his life by leaving Cameroon to come to the United States. He had a dream that one day, his children will grow up in a land that gives them every opportunity to succeed.

Well, the risk paid off big time, because if it wasn't for the risk my Dad too, my story would have been a lot different from what it is now. So let me share with you a bit about my journey as an entrepreneur and how I got here.

I started college at 16, graduated at 20 with two degrees: Psychology and Music. As a teenager, I began teaching myself how to play the piano. Within a couple of year, I became good enough and started playing for my University's Jazz band; I played for churches, special events...pretty much wherever or when someone needed a pianist. Around that same time, at about 17 years old, I also joined an MLM (Multi-Level-Marketing) company and launched my first business selling just about everything online.

Unfortunately, after almost two years of being in that business, I decided to leave the MLM industry because it just wasn't working out as I'd hope.

After graduating college at 20, with help from my parents, I self published my first book called, Becoming a Vessel For God's Glory. I visited churches in the Newark, NJ area every week to sell my books. This is when I decided to create a website about my book so that I could connect with more people globally on a personal level.

In 2005, I taught myself how to code using Adobe's dreamweaver. I quickly realized that hand coding websites was very time consuming and tedious so I began looking for other alternatives. That's when I came across a CMS (content management system) called Joomla. The rest, as they say, is history.
